Yvonne Macleay

MacLeay, Yvonne Kay 2/8/52 - 11/30/20 Wayland, MI Yvonne passed away November 30th, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born in Hastings, MI on February 8th 1952, the daughter of Wayne and Nadine (Guernsey) Shetterly. Yvonne worked in the retail industry for many years before retiring in 2010. Yvonne always brought a smile and was a free spirited loving woman. She was always the first person to help her family or a friend in need. Yvonne enjoyed boating, traveling, camping, mushroom hunting, and spending time with her grandchildren. Yvonne is survived by her husband David MacLeay whom she married on December 6th 1986 in Kalamazoo MI: Children Denise (Kirk) Hunter of Kalamazoo, Traverse MacLeay of Grand Rapids, and Donald MacLeay of Kalamazoo: Grandchildren Michael, Kalob, Kelsee, Carter, Luke, Landon, and Logan: Great Grandchildren: Bella and Rylee: Brothers Greg (Micki) Shetterly, Brian (Rebecca) Shetterly, Randy Shetterly: Sisters Michele Shetterly, Sue Steward, Connie (Martin) Strnat, Debbie Braendle, Kim (George) Caldwell, and Madelene (Robert) Ellsworth: Several nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of Yvonne’s life will be celebrated at a later date.
