In Bill's younger days he dreamed of being a Forest Ranger, that gave him the love for wild animals he had raised a skunk a fawn and nursed back to health a hawk. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. Bill loved watching Western movies, listening to music and teaching his daughter Lisa how to dance. He loved playing cards and pool with friend Bill Hunt of Burr Oak, and he was a Dallas Cowboys fan. Bill played Softball for several leagues in the Sturgis area, but mostly for Morgan Olson of Sturgis, Michigan, where he was a dedicated employee for 33 years, retiring in 2009.
After retiring he enjoyed BBQs with his family and all the grandkids as he sat on his Covered Swing. A very special thanks to his niece Alice Munoz for being his caregiver for the past year - we couldn't have done it without you. And to nephew Kevin Woodman and sister Betty for surrounding him with love until the very end.
