Wendy Sue Minzey, age 58, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, at Poppen House Harbor Hospice of Muskegon after a short illness.
Born January 31, 1967, in Muskegon, Michigan, to James and Judy (Wolf) Minzey, Wendy was raised in the Egelston area and graduated from Oakridge High School. She made her home in Muskegon Heights with her longtime companion, Tony (Ronald) Robinson.
Wendy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and compassion touched everyone she met. She raised her son, Christopher, with unwavering love and strength, and found her greatest joy in her family, especially her grandson, Jax.
She had a quiet, steady faith in God’s grace and believed deeply in love, forgiveness, and the beauty of second chances.
She is survived by her son Christopher (Jess) Minzey; grandson Jax Minzey; mother Judy Minzey; siblings Adam Chandler, Kristy Warden, James (Tammy) Minzey, Tracy Thompson, and Tammy (Chad) Lavasseur; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father James Minzey and nephew Jarrid.
A memorial gathering will be announced at a later date.
