Wayne Anderson

Wayne Wilbur Anderson of Plainwell, Michigan, passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 67.

Wayne was born in Allegan, Michigan, on December 27, 1956, to the late Jack and C. Catherine Anderson. Wayne graduated from Plainwell High School, and quickly gravitated toward a career in photo journalism. Wayne worked at the Kalamazoo Gazette, excelling in sports photography, before transitioning to a career in regional transportation.

He enjoyed time on the water, fishing, and tinkering with model trains. Wayne is survived by his children, Christine (Noel Corwin) Anderson and Joe Anderson; grandchildren, Cicilia Pachota, Felix Corwin, Dorothy Corwin, Shawn Anderson, and Kaitlynn Anderson, and brother Thomas (Lyn) Downing. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carlotta Joyce Householder.
