Trenton Wallace

June 3, 2003 — July 6, 2025

Jackson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Trenton (Trent) Wallace on July 6, 2025, at the age of 22. He was born on June 3, 2003, in Jackson, Michigan. He was the light of our lives. Trent was exceptionally gifted from an early age. He was quiet, kind, funny, and shone at whatever he focused on. He enjoyed problem solving, math, science, puzzles, gaming, and anything electronic. During his school years, he participated in the band and robotics, while maintaining a spot on the honor roll. Trent’s greatest passion was music, and it was through this medium that he expressed himself most effectively. When he started teaching himself the guitar, he would challenge himself by finding the most difficult songs and learning them better. He was the lead guitarist in the band Wake the Neighbors; he also played the keyboard and drums. He created his own studio in his home, allowing him to record and mix his own work. While he was a quiet soul and a person of very few words, he shared his life story and emotions through his music. His kind and calm demeanor captured hearts, and his bad jokes made everyone smile and laugh.

Trent had a successful career working in manufacturing at RSI Manufacturing, where he demonstrated exceptional skills and consistently exceeded expectations. He programmed and operated various machines, including CNC’s, lathes, and swiss machines. Starting with no prior experience, he taught himself and later began teaching his peers.

As a son, he could not have made us prouder. As a brother, he wanted nothing more than for his sister to be her best in life. As a friend, he would do anything to help. He was loved by all who knew him.

Trent is survived by his parents, Rosalie Cullen-Belcher (Rodney Belcher) and Shaine (Amy) Wallace; his sister, Elyssa Wallace; and his grandparents, John (Diane) Wallace. Trent was a young man who inspired us all to want to be better. He will be greatly missed. A public memorial will be held in his honor at a future time and date.
