Tommy Louis Harris

Tommy Louis Harris, age 72, passed away on October 4th, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital in East Grand Rapids, Michigan in his battle with diabetes.

Tommy was born on August 21st, 1953 in Birmingham, Alabama to parents Frank Harris and Claudette Harris. He attended Union High School in Grand Rapids and later worked at Blodgett Hospital in Environmental Services and the Surgery Department for over twenty-five years. He was a Christian and took part in services with Calvary Church on East Beltline Avenue in Grand Rapids. His favorite scripture was Psalm 23, a text he opened and closed his days with. Tommy had a lot of health problems, but God comforted him and gave him peach throughout. He loved sports and always went out for power walks. 

He is survived by his wife Alisa Harris and two sons Chris Griffin ad Curtis Griffin, and grandchildren.
