Timothy (Tim) Paul Galo, passed at home with family and friends by his side,
May 6, 2024, after a three year battle with cancer. Tim was born December 29,
1964, in Lodi, Ohio to Carol (nee Hinkel) and Paul Galo. He graduated from
New London High School in 1983 as Senior Class President. During high
school, he was employed by Robert Nestor, and Russ, Bob, and Dick Harris.
Tim worked after high school for the Federal Aviation Administration,
Cleveland Air Route Traffic Control Center as an Air Traffic Controller until his
retirement in 2012. Tim also worked at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City as
a Lead Instructor. Tim married the love of his life, Patty (nee Pauley), April 19,
1995. They raised three sons, Philip, Shaun, and Michael. The Galos are
grandparents to Dylan Simulcik, Sophia Mejic, Brycen Simulcik, Madison
Simulcik, Izabella Bennett, Bentlee Bennett, Avrielle and Evelyn Simulcik. Tim
was a member of FOE 2051, Sons of American Legion Post 8, Loyal Order of
Moose Lodge 2452, and a life member of VF@ Post 6941. The Galos lived in
rural New London until Tim’s retirement, then relocated to LeRoy, Michigan.
Tim was the middle of five children, Jim, Melissa (Big Sis), Mark, and Rebecca.
Tim is proceeded in death by younger brother Mark; parents, Paul and Carol
Galo; grandparents, Andrew and Julia
Galo; grandparents, Jim and Dorothy Hinkel; and brother-in-law, Rob Peters. It
was Tim’s wish that there be no service. He wishes his numerous family
members and friends remember him in a moment of silence.
