Thomas Spiros Voutsas, age 69

Grand Rapids, Michigan

With heavy hearts, we share the news that Tom passed away from a hard-fought battle with cancer, at his log cabin home with cherished family by his side.

Tom is survived by his wife Bo and her daughter Molly, his two children Christina and Thomas, his five grandchildren Thomas, Nicholas, Ashton, Hannah and Carter and his Nona, Lola Paris.

Tom is also survived by his five siblings, Michael, Georgia, Dori, Jim and Elaine and many other loving extended family members and his sweet kitties Rose and Stella.

Tom was predeceased by his beloved mother and stepfather, Emily and Jerry Collins, Uncle Jim, and father, Emmanuel.

Tom was proud of his Greek heritage as well as his few years in the US Army. Tom was a Manufacturing Engineer and most recently worked at J & M Machining in Muskegon, Michigan and Metaldyne in Fremont, Indiana.

Tom loved his many trips to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, camping, boating, fishing, and bonfires. His great smile was loved by his many friends.

Tom’s final resting place will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Petoskey, Michigan.

Honoring Tom’s expressed wishes, a private service for the scattering of his ashes is planned for the spring of 2023.
