Thomas Cate

Thomas Joseph Cate, 81, passed away on the 12th of March, 2024, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Born on August 27, 1942, in Pontiac, Michigan, he was a man of kindness, wonderful humor and integrity.

Mr. Cate bravely served his country in the United States Navy. His commitment to his nation was steadfast and unwavering.

After his military service, he embarked on a career with General Motors. His work ethic and dedication were commendable and left a lasting impact on his colleagues.

Thomas is survived by his cherished wife, Patricia, his son, Tom, (Victoria), his daughter Barbara, (Kevin), sister Helen, sister in law Pat, brothers in law Mike (Debbie), Adam (Christine) and his grandchildren, Hannah, Anderson and Violet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Janet Deloraine Cate, as well as his brothers, Howard (Bud), Dave and brother in law, Dick
