Theodore Bartram

July 28, 1966 — October 7, 2020

Theodore (Ted) Edward Bartram Bartram, (Ted) Theodore, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with the Lord on October 7, 2020 at Butterworth Hospital surrounded by his wonderful companion, Mary and sister, Jackalyn. Ted is survived by his loving companion Mary Ulven, two sons, Jonathan (Amber) Heintz, Bruce (Nichole) Bartram. Sister, Jackalyn (David) Williams, two uncles, Tim (Cindy Burns) Grochowalski, Rich (Margaret) Grochowalski. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Grochowalski, and brother, Stanley (Wayne) Grochowalski. Ted loved several stepchildren, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Ted was a professional painter and painted at the Parade of Homes in Grand Rapids over the years. He would paint for any family and friends in need. Ted was one of the best painters to ever hold a paintbrush his height at 6’7 served him well on the job. One of Ted’s best qualities was his generous heart. He inherited this trait from his mother, Lyn. Ted would do anything for anybody that needed him. Per Ted’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will take place in Grand Haven and we will spread his ashes in Lake Michigan to join our Mom. To my dearest brother, may God and Mom welcome you home to Paradise. Keeping your memories close to our hearts until we meet again.
