Tammy Lynn McMillan, age 57 of Wyoming, passed away peacefully January 26th 2024 in her home surrounded by those she loved. She was an amazing wife of 20 years to Gary McMillan; a loving mother to their six children, Eric, Holly, Chrysti, Tricia, James, and Sarah. She was a beloved grandmother to Michele, Braeden, Travis, Rebecca, Blake, Nikolas, Athena, Bo, Matthew, and Olivia; and a great grandmother to Hendrix.
Tammy is survived by her husband Gary McMillan, their children and grandchildren as well as one great grandson: her mother Lois VanWyk (Welsh), and her siblings Coleen, Valerie, Wendy, Brian, Kendal, Steven, Lesley, Lonnie, and Micheal.
She was born in West Michigan. She was raised in Cedar Springs and graduated from Cedar Springs High School in 1984. After School she finished an associate degree in accounting before becoming a school bus driver for Cedar Springs Public Schools and Sparta Public Schools in turn. Her greatest accomplishment by far though, is the life she provided for her children.
Tammy loved God. She enjoyed quilting, scrapbooking, and knitting in her free time. She loved spending holidays with her family and summers on the beaches of Lake Michigan. Her family describes her as being: Beautiful, loving, caring, kind, genuine, bubbly, feisty, and fun.
A memorial will be held in her honor:

The service will be led by Pastor JD VanValin and a luncheon will follow.
