Susan Jo (Carpenter) Worsnop of Paw Paw, Michigan died unexpectedly on Jan. 6 at age 68. The family is deeply saddened by her passing. Sue was born on July 5, 1955 in Lansing, Michigan. She attended Okemos High School and Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, graduating in 1977. She lived in southwest Michigan most of her adult life.
Sue was a teacher and loving mother, a dog lover, and an avid gardener and crafter. She loved southwest Native American culture and archeology. Her favorite place on earth was Butler Wash in Utah. She participated in several archeological surveys through Four Corners School of Outdoor Education.
Sue was predeceased by her mother Amelia Jane (Vidro) Carpenter and father Wayne Ferris Carpenter, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Gregory Worsnop, daughter Abigail (Worsnop) Rose (Mark). Brothers Wayne Thomas Carpenter (Cindy) and Douglas Scott Carpenter (Laura).
