Susan Evelyn Hupp McDonald passed away on April 19th at 69 years of age. Susan was born on September 16, 1956, in Lansing Michigan at Sparrow Hospital to Joseph and Evelyn (Shonk) Hupp.
Susan’s educational journey began at Okemos Public Schools, where she graduated in 1974. Her desire to learn continued as she attended Lansing Community College earning an Associates of Science Degree in Accounting. Her career was primarily in the field of accounting. She worked at a local bank until her retirement in 2019.
Susan had a strong faith in God throughout her life. She will be remembered particularly as an accepting person who celebrated people as they are.
Susan loved tent camping. There were many special parks in Canada and across the US she spent time at with her family. Her favorite thing to do was travel. In retirement she liked going to South Padre Island in Texas, and Gulf Shores and Orange Beach in Alabama. She enjoyed nature and the outdoors.
