Sue Knoll

Sue Ellen Knoll, age 73, of North Muskegon, went home to be with the Lord, on January 7, 2021 after a long battle with heart disease. She was born in Muskegon on March 4, 1947 to her parents, Marvin and Hazel (Thompson) Hall.
Sue is preceded in death by her father; children, Gerald Edison Knoll III and Jason Clark Knoll; sister, Doreen Japenga and half- brother, Kenneth Hall.

She will be remembered by her mother, Hazel Hall; her daughters, Kelly Kay (Troy French) Knoll and Kimberly Sue Knoll; fiancé, Don Stapel and his children, Kari Davis, Don Stapel and Otto Stapel.

Sue graduated from Ravenna High School in 1965. She then worked at various companies around the Muskegon area such as Standard Automotive, Hot N Now, DSC Laboratories and JJ Resort Haunted Barn. Sue was a lifelong resident of Muskegon.

She loved her dogs and grand dogs. Some of Sue’s biggest joys included getting her hair done, going out for coffee with friends, hunting, camping, cookouts, and attending the races with her significant other, Don.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date due to the current Covid-19 restrictions.
