Stephen King

Stephen H. King (June 4th, 1964-June 20th 2024)

Stephen H. King longtime resident of Alma, MI, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2024.

Stephen was born in Lapeer, MI on June 4, 1964 to his parents Kenneth and Susan King. He was raised in the Lapeer area alongside his younger siblings, Elizabeth and Kenneth “Bo” King Jr. He graduated from Lapeer High School in the class of 1982. He completed an associates degree in computer programming. He met Michele King, the love of his life, in 1994 and the two married on May 1st, 1995. They settled in the Alma area with their beautiful daughters, Nicole and Racheal. In 1997 they welcomed their daughter Samantha and in 1999 their son Matthew.

Stephen spent 28 years working as a machinist at a company that produced parts for the American Car Manufacturers. He was known for his love of fishing, hunting, and the University of Michigan football program. He had a life long passion for all things tech including computers, which lead to his love of video games.

Stephen will be deeply missed by his wife, Michele; his daughters, Nicole (Nick) Bombe, Rachael Fox (Pep Sucharikul), Samantha King (Travis Schall) and his son Matthew King; his parents Kenneth and Susan King; his siblings Elizabeth King and Kenneth “Bo” King Jr.; his grandchildren Kailey and Gunner; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
