Stephen Ronald Kendall, known affectionately as Steve by his friends and family, passed away peacefully of natural causes on September 21, 2024, in Grand Rapids, MI. Steve was Born on December 28, 1938, in Inkster, MI.
Steve proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy, a period of his life that instilled in him a sense of discipline and camaraderie that he carried into his civilian life.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Steve was a man of many interests. He relished the quiet challenge of the daily crossword, the thrill of a well-cast line during his fishing trips, and the excitement of a competitive round of golf. As a dedicated sports fan, he never missed the opportunity to cheer on his favorite hockey teams, celebrating each victory with the same enthusiasm he brought to every aspect of his life.
Steve was a cherished brother to Lela Newman and Lola Young. He joins in rest his sister Joanne Perdue and brother Kenneth Kendall Jr., who preceded him in death. His legacy continues through his loving daughter Linda Seeley and her husband Scott, his son Paul Kendall and his wife Raquel, and his adored grandchildren Jordan, Hunter, Noah, Brielle, Tristan, Dylan, and Raegan. He also held a special place in his heart for his step-grandchildren Aaron, Matt, Travis, and Tyler, who will all miss him dearly.
Steve's family is a testament to his life's work of love and devotion. His unwavering support and the values he imparted will live on through the generations.
