Sherry Barrett

On July 28, 2021, Our ever-loved Sherry Lynn Barrett escaped the surly bonds of Earth to walk again with God. Her life and love are remembered by her daughter, Michelle D.Barrett, son Andrew S. Barrett, grandchildren Miranda Barrett, Sean and Aubrey Prevost, Sister-In-Law Bonne Salyer, nieces Shannon Chavez and Kira Johnson, and nephew Michael Johnson, along with a full family tree of wonderful relatives and friends that loved her dearly. Sherry retired after 20 years as a successful and valued member of the Jacobson’s customer care team. She loved cooking and teaching others the value of a well cooked, homemade meal. She was fond of making and generously sharing her famous beer bread. Reading brought her daily joy and you could always find a library book tucked close by. Sherry took pride in, encouraged and empowered her grandkids to find their passions. Her appreciation and love of the beach, the sun and Lake Michigan has been a gift that continues to be cherished through generations. Services will be held at a time when we can gather safely.
