Shawn Rybicki

Shawn Marie Rybicki (Pett) passed away Friday, September 2, 2022, surrounded by family. Shawn (aka Aunt Nawnee) was a beloved wife, mother and sister. She loved her animals dearly, especially her (thousands of) treasured cats and her big-ole pup, Boomer. She is remembered fondly for her free spirit and love of 80’s rock and roll including: Fleetwood Mac, Heart, Metallica, Poison. She is survived by her son, Ben Pett; her husband Matt Rybicki, and her sisters Kelly (Greg) Erwin and Jerri Dombrowski. She will be united in heaven with her mother, Patricia Dombrowski, her father Terrance Pett, Grandparents and great grandparents.

Every day is a new opportunity to choose joy, despite sorrow. To that end, we’ve planned a celebration of life to share all of the joy of Shawn’s life. Leave all sadness at the door, but please bring your stories, laughs, and the happiness Shawn brought to your life, her celebration of life will take place on September 10th from 1-5 pm at 518 Oakview Drive, Middleville, MI 49333. Please bring a dish to pass, your best and funniest memories of Shawn, and yourself (of course!) and help us celebrate someone who touched all our hearts.
