Sharon Lee Brown

Sharon Lee Brown, age 88, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on August 1, 2026.

Sharon was born on February 14, 1938, in Coopersville, Michigan, to John and Janet Koning. She attended Coopersville Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1956. Shortly after graduation, she married the love of her life, Edward LaMadline, on March 6, 1957. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and love. Following Edwards passing, she later married Norbert Brown with whom she shared many happy years.

Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, sewing, and creating lasting memories with those she loved. Her strong faith in the Lord was the foundation of her life and was evident in the kindness, compassion, and grace she showed to everyone she met. She was a member of Ottawa Center Chapel in Coopersville.

She is survived by her children; two stepchildren; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her special sister-in-law, Sally Keith of Orlando, Florida, along with many other family members and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward LaMadline, and by her parents, John and Janet Koning, and Norbert Brown.

Following a stroke in October 2025, Sharon received exceptional care from Community Health Center of Newaygo. Her family is deeply grateful for the compassion and dedication shown to her throughout her journey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Health Center of Newaygo in Sharon’s memory.

Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that she has been welcomed home into the presence of her Savior, where she is at peace for eternity.
