Shane Bruinekool, aged 56, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2026. Born on October 10, 1970, Shane was a truly good man—a warm, thoughtful, and caring soul who brought light and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know him. If you ever needed a listening ear or a honest conversation, Shane was always someone you could count on without hesitation.

An avid lover of the great outdoors, Shane was most at home bathed in direct sunlight. Rain or shine, summer or winter, he somehow maintained a year-round tan that was the envy of many. He lived for camping trips, fishing trips, gathered around a roaring bonfire, sharing stories and laughter under the stars.

Shane was a naturally gifted card player and a enthusiastic cornhole competitor. During card games with friends, he had an uncanny knack for coming out on top—a streak of winning so famous it earned the affectionate nickname "Dumb Shane Luck."

Above all, Shane was a genuine people person. He possessed the rare gift of being able to strike up a full conversation with complete strangers, turning instant connections into lasting friendships. Carefree, open-hearted, and joyful, Shane truly knew how to embrace and enjoy life to its fullest.

Shane was preceded in death by his loving mother, Patricia Bruinekool; his father, Dennis Bruinekool; and his beloved sister, Melony Pineiro.

He is survived and deeply missed by his younger brother, Chad Bruinekool; his nephew, Tyler Pineiro; along with many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of dear friends.

Shane’s infectious spirit, kind heart, and bright presence will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who loved him.
