Sandra Lee Cook

Sandra Lee Cook, age 88, passed away on the morning of Monday, October 27th 2025. Sandra, born Alexandra Lee Heck, on May 27, 1937 in South Bend Indiana, to Charles & Mary Heck. On August 25, 1956, she married George Victor Cook in South Bend. She was preceded in death by her son Patrick (1970) and her husband George of 63 years, (2019). Sandy is survived by four sons, Dr. Gregory (wife Holland), Michael, Daniel, Leah Alden (Christopher). Sandra has 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In life, Sandy worked as an employment counselor. She also worked hard to raise her five boys with her husband George. They finally settled in Pinkney, Michigan. Sandy shared her love for music, animals, reading and most importantly football. She especially loved her favorite South Bend team, Nortre Dame. She spent time living in many places including Hawaii, Florida, California and most recently, resides in Heaven.
