Ruth Ann Werre

Ruth Ann (Devereaux) Werre, age 83, of Grand Rapids, the youngest child of Archie C. and Elmira (White) Devereaux passed away October 22, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Hattie Marshall, Edith Van Norman, Jennie Vandenbergh, and Betty Zalewski; brothers, George and Archie Devereaux. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 66 years, Jack G. Were, and children: Hattie and Thomas Beenen, Kathryn Kuzawa, Carrie and Scott Rothley, and Sharon Werre; grandchildren, Joseph and Brenda Tinney, Rachel and Shaun Osbon, Jacqueline Sowards and fiancé Matt Pizzolato, Partick Kuzawa, Emma Kuzawa, Haleigh and Jacob Skrobot, Jarrod Rothley and Logan Deater, Len and Maria Austin, Scott and Stacey Slimmen; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Eva, and Sierra Tinney, Aiden, Caileb, Lilanna and Elliott Austin, Landon Slimmen; and brother, William Devereaux. Ruth enjoyed playing cards, quilting, needlework, and crocheting. Cremation has taken place. A memorial will be held at a later date.
