Ronald Van Valkenburg

Ron Van Valkenburg of Grand Rapids Michigan Went to be with his lord on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the age of 76.

Ron was born in Grand Rapids Michigan to John and Ada Van Valkenburg, who has preceded him in death.

Ron was a member of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife Betty (Koperski) Van Valkenburg. Daughters; Rhonda and Julie. Stepchildren; Mark Tennis, Brian and Amy Tennis, David and Wendy Tennis, Fred and Phyllis Schneider. Nephew; John Vanvalkenburg. Brothers and sister in laws; Janet (Bob) Dekoskey, Jim (Deb) Koperski, Barb Braak, Bob (Diane) Koperski, Rose Scharphorn, Sue (Evert) Jelsma. As well as many nieces and nephews and Florida Friends.

A cremation has taken place, there will be a burial of his cremated remains at Fort Custer National Cemetery with military honors, on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 2:00 PM. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
