Roger Fleese, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on April 27, 1943, Roger dedicated his life to hard work, beginning his career in foundries, where he toiled diligently until his retirement at the age of 62.
Throughout his life, Roger was known for his unwavering dedication to his family. He relished the time spent with his grandchildren, taking them on field trips and participating in the beloved family fish fry every year. His role as a loving husband to Paula Fleese and a father to Edward and Carmen was marked by his genuine love and commitment to supporting his children and their experiences. Edward and his wife Michelle welcomed three children: Kasey, Riley, and Peyton Fleese. Carmen, too, has Five children: Maya, Loren McDaniels, Carl Fleese, Kaitlyn, Oscar Stiver, Gage Dueber, and Mecka, Cole Daniels, as well as four great-grandsons, all of whom he adored.
Roger's interests were varied and fulfilling; he took pride in his impressive gun collection and devoted himself to meticulously caring for his yard. Walking his beloved dog, Pugsley, was a daily highlight, often ending with moments of relaxation together as they watched television.
A man of faith, Roger regularly attended church on Saturdays, exemplifying his devotion through consistent support of charities such as St. Jude’s, which he donated to yearly. Sundays often found him enjoying quality time with his best friend Bob, solidifying the bonds of friendship that he valued deeply.
Roger was a beloved figure whose warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew him. As we remember Roger Fleese, we celebrate a life rich with family, friends, and cherished memories. He now joins the ranks of his predeceased loved ones, including his parents Gladys and Edward Fleese, sister Sandy Fleese, and brothers Ron and Randy Fleese.
Roger's legacy of compassion, support, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered in countless ways.
Arrangements will be announced at a later date as the family wants the service to be in nicer weather conditions.
