Bob was greeted in heaven by his son, Robert Keith "Buddy" Munson, his brother Vernon Allen Munson, his bonus sister Dianne Marie (John) Beck, as well as by his parents and grandparents, who predeceased him.

Professionally, Bob dedicated many years to truck driving, a career that suited his love for the open road and his natural ability to make new friends wherever he went. His commitment to service was also evident in his time with the National Guard, where he served with honor and distinction.

Bob was known for his love of the simple pleasures in life. He had a special passion for mushroom hunting, an activity that allowed him to bask in the beauty of nature while enjoying the thrill of the hunt. His leisurely car rides were a source of relaxation and joy, as were the moments spent coloring, playing cards, and making memories with friends and family.
