Rebecca Diane Webb

Rebecca Dianne Webb, affectionately known as Dianne to her friends and family, passed away peacefully in Lowell, MI on the morning of January 5, 2025. A life marked by love, spirit, and intelligence, Dianne was born on April 23, 1938, in the town of Hillsdale, Michigan.

Dianne graduate from Hillsdale High School, after which she furthered her education at Alma College with a degree in Home Economics. After college, she met Maurice Dean Webb, whom had been her delivery milk man during her childhood. They married on January 1, 1960.

She is survived by her devoted sons, Trenton Dean Webb (Ronda Jean Webb (Steele)) and Brenton Dean Webb (Julie Anne Webb (Barrett)). Dianne's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Zachary Thomas Webb and Chelsea Rebecca Emmorey (Webb) (Christopher Douglas Emmorey).

In her later years, Dianne returned to education at Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Western Michigan University earning a degree in English and Literature. She was passionate about education and tutored English and Reading at the Juvenile Home in Kalamazoo, Michigan for several years.

Dianne's loving passion for animals showed in her care of her pets and her horse Betsy that she had in her younger years. Her dream was to become a veterinarian but choose instead the path of a loving mother and spouse.

Dianne's life was a tapestry of meaningful relationships, intellectual pursuits, and heartfelt contributions to the people around her. Those who knew her will remember her for the warmth of her smile, the sharpness of her mind, and the boundless energy with which she approached every aspect of her life.

As we bid farewell to Rebecca Dianne Webb, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and passion. We honor a woman whose love knew no bounds, whose spirit could not be tamed, and whose intelligence guided her through a life of significant impact.
