Ray Bordeaux

Ray Leroy Bordeaux, 83 of Comstock Park, Michigan passed away on February 18, 2025, in his home, surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer. Ray was born in Cadilliac, Michigan on September 23, 1941, to Francis Delos Bordeaux & Laura Elva (Bishop) Bordeaux. After 35 years of service, Ray retired from Knape & Vogt Manufacturing, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Ray was preceded in death by his first wife of 21 years, Fredricka Sue (Weibenga) Bordeaux, and his second wife of 23 years, Sharon Kay (Anderson) Bordeaux, his parents, his brothers, Ronald Bordeaux, and Joe Bordeaux, his sisters, Yvonne “Janet” (Bordeaux) Hernandez and Marvel L. Bordeaux.

Ray is survived by his loving children, Kelly Jo Bordeaux, Patricia Ann (Scott Allen) Troost, Ray Leroy (Jennifer Lynn) Bordeaux II and Stacey Lynn (Joe Francis) Smith, and his stepchildren, Tammy Steadman and Kyle (Elaine) Anderson, his brothers Lavern Bordeaux and Reed (Bathsheba) Bordeaux, and his sisters, Doris Bordeaux, Patricia Bordeaux & Mallory Nyman as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Ray was a veteran from the US, Navy and a longtime member of the American Legion, Post 47, in Comstock Park, Michigan who Ray lovingly referred to as his second home and his fellow members as his second family.

A Celebration of Life for Ray will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Friday, February 21, 2025, at the American Legion, Post 47, 3811 West River Drive, NE, Comstock Park, Michigan 49321.
