Philip Benfield

Philip Wayne Benfield passed away peacefully with family on June 16th, 2026

He is survived by his wife, Karen Benfield. Son and Daughter in law, Brandon and Katie Benfield. Daughter and Son in law, Amanda and Travis Powell. His three grandchildren and his sister, Nancy Douglas. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Vernon and Marion Benfield as well as his sister, Diane Wood. 

He spent many years working as a skilled service technician, taking pride in his work and earning a reputation as someone who could fix anything. He dedicated the majority of his career to Boshears Ford and Denso, where his strong work ethic and mechanical knowledge were appreciated by coworkers and friends alike. 

Above all else, he was a devoted husband, a proud father and an even prouder papa. His family was the center of his world and cherished all the moments spent with them. He also had a special love for dogs, who always seemed to find a friend in him. His kindness and willingness to help others will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Though he is no longer with us, his love, lesson, and memory will remain in the hearts of family and friends forever. 

There will be only a private celebration of life with close family.
