Muskegon
Paul Bowen, born March 6, 1969, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.
Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He shared his life with his beloved wife, Wendy Bowen, and together they raised seven children: Paulie, Josie, Lila, Aerianna, Destiny, Lillian, and Mauri’Anna. He was also a proud grandfather to his three grandchildren, Santana, Othella, and Declan, who brought great joy to his life.
Paul loved spending time outdoors and in nature, especially at his property, where he could enjoy the peace and beauty of the woods. He loved spending time with his family and friends, making memories, and simply being together. He had great passion for U of M football. Above all, Paul loved being a father and grandfather and cherished the time he was able to spend with the people he loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents George & Marge Bowen & siblings Sally Pacillo, George Bowen III, and Yvonne Bowen.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy; his seven children, Paulie, Josie (Greg Chase), Lila, Aerianna (Jason White), Destiny, Lillian, and Mauri’Anna; and his grandchildren, Santana, Othella, and Declan.
He is also survived by his siblings Mary Kalisz (Dave), Suzanne Jasick, Richard Bowen (Rebecca), David Bowen (Barb), Bonnie Joyce (Mark), James Bowen (Kara), Lisa Rundquist (Mark), Laura Harken (Dean), John Bowen (Tammy), and Matthew Bowen (Jessica). Along with hundreds of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family members.
Paul also leaves behind many special friends who were an important part of his life, including Craig, Alvin, Jerome, Rock and Kris, and Chris.
Paul will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through his children, grandchildren, family, friends, and all of the memories they shared together.
He may be gone from our sight, but the love he gave and the memories he created will remain with us forever.
