Patricia Louise Ashburn, known fondly as GG or grandma, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on September 28, 1949, in the heart of Muskegon, Michigan, Patricia was a remarkable woman who filled her life with love and dedication to her family.

In her younger years, Patricia was not just an attentive and loving mother; she was a hard worker who took on leadership roles throughout her career. She was known for her fairness and commitment to training and advocating for fellow workers. Education was important to Patricia, and she earned her associate's degree at Muskegon Community College while raising three daughters.

Family was the heart of Patricia's life. She loved her family dearly and would do anything for them. A great listener, she was always there to offer support and wisdom. She had a strong personality that was selfless, caring, and independent. Patricia had a witty sense of humor and a strong moral compass.

Among her interests, Patricia enjoyed going to bingo with family, indulging in chuckles candy, and going out to eat with friends and family. She was known for her world’s famous waffles, a cherished memory for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She held her faith close to her heart, loving Jesus and the Bible unwaveringly.

Patricia is survived by her sister, Carol Groleau (husband Danny), brother Richard McPherson, along with her daughters: Corrina Santos, Christina Ashburn, and Danielle Hendrie (husband Troy Hendrie). She took great joy in her grandchildren: Savanna Santos, Sierra Santos, Nathan Ashburn, Olivia Ashburn, Theodore Singleton Jr., Christopher Ashburn, James Booth, Seth Booth, and Brody Hendrie, as well as several great-grandchildren: Ontario Porchia Jr., JeVontae Sims Jr., Hayden Allan, Ellianna O’Brein, Josiah Santos, Bentley Baum, Maddex Booth and several more on the way.

Patricia has been reunited in death with her father, Guy McPherson, her mother, Mildred McPherson(twin siblings lost at birth), and brothers James, Dave, Ronnie and Dennis McPherson, along with her son-in-law Tyler Booth. Her legacy of love, faith, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
