Norbert Dale Bartholomew

Norbert Dale Bartholomew, age 88, of Bellevue MI, passed away on October 23, 2020. He was born on December 7, 1931. Norbert was an avid fan of John Deere Tractors, Dancing at the Grange, and listening to county music. As an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. Norbert also enjoyed spending time with his family which included watching the grandkids play sports. Norbert was a person who could fix anything. After High School, Norbert joined the U.S. Coast Guard. He proudly worked at GM for 30 years and finally retired in 1984. He was married to the love of his life, Bonnie for 47 years. Norbert is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Mike Bartholomew and daughter, Jan; also, a brother, Frank Bartholomew and sister, Marilyn Hiser. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie; children, Matt (Kim) Partridge of Dowling, MI, Carrie (Jeff) Huggett of Bellevue, MI, Russ (Shelly) Partridge of Battle Creek, MI, Sharon (Neil) Cheney of Utah, Kris Bartholomew of Eaton Rapids, MI, Rex Bartholomew, Larry Bartholomew and Beth (Zach) Pruitt of Bellevue, MI. Also surviving are brothers, Junior Bartholomew and Lynn Bartholomew; sister, Lilian, along with 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation has taken place.
