Nancy Jean (Walcott) Norton

Passed away peacefully at her stepdaughter and son in laws home April 9th 2026 where she was under Corewell Hospice care for the last 6 weeks. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids, going for their birthday Casino trips with her daughter Missy, Bingo with her friend Artie and table meetings with her friend LeAnn and the other friends at Tamarack Estates along with her Yahtzee group ladies and bible study group led by Mary at Tamarack Estates. She was also a life member of the Howard City V.F.W. 3306 while it was still in operation.

She was proceeded in death by her husband of 29 years L.D. Norton, son David Allen Norton, daughter Jolyn Maran Norton, grandson William Paul Boden, granddaughter Samantha Jo Blair, mother Lillian Walcott, and son in law Loni Willett.

Nancy is survived by her son Donald Norton, stepdaughter Penny (Gordon) Bassett, daughters Mellissa Boden, Lisa Platz, Deanna Willett and Bobbi Jo Blair 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, sister Patty (Mike) Hoonhorst.

By her request cremation has all ready taken place and a private family burial will be at a later date at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

A celebration of life is planned for April 24,th 2026 at the Pierson Hall 190 Grand Pierson MI at 5pm.
