Nancy Johnson

Nancy Lee Johnson (Thomas/maiden name), Nickname Brandy. Age 78, Allegan, MI, Saturday 2/24/24

Born in Davenport, IA on July 8th, 1945. She enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren and riding motorcycles. She spent most of her adult life driving cross country as a Truck Driver with her late husband James Johnson. She adored her two dogs, Bailey (deceased) and survived by Camilla.

Preceded in Death by her husband James E. Johnson (12/5/2009). Survived by: Daughter Dawn L. Jones her husband Bryan K. Jones, grandchildren Treaver L. Jones, Spring L. Jones, Keith S. Jones, Skyler D. Jones, and 12 great grandchildren.

Memorial Services: Memorial to spread the ashes of Nancy Johnson and James Johnson will be held the weekend of March 22nd in North GA Mountains.

Fond memories of Nancy with her grandchildren include nightly prayers at bedtime. She would put them to bed and pray with them/over them. Nancy had a way to make everyone feel included as if they were all part of the family. The neighborhood kids would come over daily for snacks and hangout, she’d take them all on trips, she wanted everyone to be a part of the experience. Her grandchildren loved going to Grand Isle for weekend trips to go fishing with her and their grandfather, James, it is one of the best memories they have of growing up.
