Michelle "Micki" Denise Holley

April 30, 1972 — May 6, 2025

Michelle Denise Holley, affectionately known as Micki to her loved ones, passed away on May 6, 2025, in Wyoming, MI, after a brave battle with Small Cell Lung Cancer. Born on April 30, 1972, in Warren, MI, she was a vibrant soul whose laughter and kindness touched everyone she met.

Micki grew up in a bustling household that set the stage for her love of family and life. She cherished the memories with her late parents, Sandra Joann Patefield Holley and Thomas Edward Holley, who predeceased her, as well as her siblings. Micki was a loving sister to Anna Holley, Beth Hessell, and the late Karen Hessell, and a supportive sister to Jerry Hessell. She shared her heart and life with her fiancée, Michael Lee Brander, with whom she found deep joy, and laughter with. Her spirit of family unity and strength lives on through her beloved children, Madison Brown, Katlynn (Katie) Tibaldi, Taylor Harris, and Caitlin Brander, who were the center of her universe. Micki was a proud grandmother to a delightful band of grandchildren: Shire, Liam, and Ellie Harris; Lucah, Ariana, and Orion Tibaldi; Serenity Fulford, Malikai Brown, Nova Jones, Mayah Chatman, Wyatt Mourer, Lily and Henry Werbeskas. Each one held a special place in her heart, and she reveled in their growth and every new discovery.

A woman of many passions, Micki embraced life's simple pleasures with the zealous heart of a child. She was a lover of softball. Micki found solace and joy in arts and crafts, which she often enjoyed alongside her sister Anna, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her creative soul. She was an avid cook whose recipes brought comfort and togetherness to the family table. Micki loved camping and gardening.

In everything she did, music and movies played in the background, setting the soundtrack to her life's most memorable moments.

As we bid farewell to Micki, we hold tight to the memories that her loving, spirited, and creative nature has bestowed upon us. Her legacy is one of unabridged love, joyous laughter, and a reminder to savor every moment of this beautiful journey we call life.

Michelle Denise Holley's life will be celebrated in the hearts of those she touched forever. She may have left this Earth, but the melodies of her soulful existence will continue to resonate with us all. Rest in peace, dear Micki. Your love and light will always be a beacon for those you've left behind.
