She shared 28 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Jan Egas, whose partnership was the cornerstone of a vibrant, loving home. Together, they raised a family of five remarkable children: sons Johnie (Anissa), James, and Jeremy, and daughters Heather, Brianna Gerke, and Miranda.

Later, Michelle's joy multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren: Parker, Tuesdae, Holden, Teegan, Ava, Jaxon, and Jensen. She cherished every moment with them, instilling in them the values of kindness and the importance of family bonds.

The daughter of Tim and Bev Gerke, Michelle grew up in a nurturing environment that cultivated her caring nature. Her brothers, Kevin and Adam Gerke (Cheri), shared in the laughter and love that defined their childhood. This close-knit family support was the foundation upon which Michelle built her own family life, one characterized by unwavering support and encouragement.
