Michael Adam Kilpatrick, born on May 8, 2012, in Petoskey, Michigan, was a spark of joy in this world, taken from us too soon at the tender age of 13 on January 27, 2026, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Michael was a bright and loving middle school student at Kenowa Hills Middle School, where his compassionate spirit shone as brightly as his enthusiasm for life.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Michael will forever cherish the light he brought into their lives. He was a young boy with a heart full of empathy, always attentive to the feelings of others. Michael had a unique way of expressing his care; he would often surprise friends and family with heartfelt notes of love and encouragement, reminding them of their worth in this world. His gentle acts of kindness left an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to be touched by his spirit.
Michael was also a typical boy full of energy and excitement. He adored being silly and shared countless hours lost in the captivating worlds of video games. Through laughter, joy, and innocent mischief, he created beautiful memories with his siblings and friends, moments that will live on in their hearts forever.
Michael is survived by his loving father Conrad Kilpatrick, his loving sisters, Abigail Barnes and Sophia Kilpatrick, and his younger brother, Onyx. Together, they carry the memories of Michael's laughter and the warmth of his kindness, ensuring that his spirit lives on through them.
Michael entered heaven alongside his beloved mother, Jacqueline Neill, and his brother, Cameron Kilpatrick, forever embraced by their love as they reunited with their Grandpa Jack Neill. While the world feels a little dimmer without them, Michael's light continues to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him. Michael will be remembered not only for his playful spirit but also for the love and compassion he so generously shared with everyone around him. Rest in peace, dear Michael, your legacy of kindness and joy will never fade.
