Michael was born June 12, 1942, in Lakeview, MI to Robert and June (Imhoff) Hall. Michael attended Lakeview School until he joined the Army in 1960. In the Army, he became an expert rifleman and maintained his passion for firearms throughout his life. He worked for Spectrum Health in the maintenance department where he retired after 27 years. Michael was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and hunter. Michael was also a very skilled craftsman/handyman, who could fabricate anything he “needed”, including building his own cabin in the woods where he lived and felt it was his very own piece of paradise. As dedicated member of the Patriot Guard Riders, he was passionate about showing honor and respect for all our service men and women. Neighbors and friends would tell you that Michael would help anyone at any time. He will be greatly missed by all those that knew him.
The memorial service will be held on December 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Rockford United Methodist Church, 159 Maple Street, Rockford, MI 49341. Pastor Anna Moon & Pastor Larry Young will officiate the ceremony. A one-hour visitation will be held from 10am-11am. A luncheon will follow the service. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Michael’s life.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Patriot Guard Riders, P.O. Box 61, Grandville, MI 49468.
