Melissa Kennedy

Melissa Jo Kennedy-(Webber) age 57 of Kalamazoo passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Rose Arbor hospice facility surrounded by the loving care of her family.

She was born December 16, 1967 in Kalamazoo, MI she was one of 8 children born to James and Penelope Webber.

In 2005 she met her lifetime partner Dale Hamilton.

She was preceded in death by her father James Russell Webber, mother Penelope Jane Webber and sister Michelle Lynn Carpenter, and brother Matthew Scott Webber.

She is survived by her partner Dale Wayne Hamilton, three daughters. Emmaleigh (Johnathan Ruiz) Hardy, daughter Tia Lynn (Niko) Ekern daughter Angelina Hamiliton, and one son Anthony Hamilton. Siblings: Michael (Amy creech)Webber of Kalamazoo, Mark (Cheri) Webber  of Kalamazoo, Mindy (Jeff) McNally of Galesburg, Rhonda Webber of Watervliet, Marty (Lynn) Webber of Mattawan and George (Molly) Webber of Kalamazoo.

Melissa was a woman of faith who attended church at Word for Life Church in Kalamazoo MI. After she was no longer able to attend do to health issues, she would watch online and always make a comment to let you know she was still involved. 

She enjoyed coffee or Pepsi with chocolate chip cookies, while working on crossword puzzles or regular puzzles. She loved Jeopardy, wheel of fortune and family feud and HG tv. She enjoyed making people smile and laugh and loved smiley faces

A celebration of life service will be held for her at Word for Life Church located at 7022 east Michigan Kalamazoo MI 49048, service time is 1pm on the 23 of October 2025.

Missy loved Potlucks and getting the family together for the Holidays so after service there will also be a potluck luncheon where your invited to stay eat and swap memories.
