Megan Wheelock

Megan Renee Wheelock, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away on November

18, 2024, at the age of 36. Born on February 2, 1988, in Grand Rapids, Michigan,

Megan lived a life defined by warmth and creativity, leaving an indelible mark on the

hearts of those who knew her. She departed in the same city that witnessed her first

breath, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

Megan, affectionately known by all as Megan, was the cherished daughter of Scott Wheelock and Kimberly

Vandermolen, and beloved stepdaughter to Cari Wheelock, preceding her in death

Bernard and Jessie Wheelock, step father Martin Vandermolen, sister Kristen Wheelock, as well as Delmar and Jacquline Groeneweg. Her Aunt

Robin Osborn, she is survived by several aunts, uncles, and special friends including

Travis Nelson and Jerry Wright, will fondly remember Megan's friendly spirit and

her capacity to forge deep, lasting connections. Megan's sibling circle was filled with

love and camaraderie, including her step-sister Pam Williston, and brothers

Branden, Nathan, Anthony, Treson, Elijah, and sisters Brielle and Aleigha

Vandermolen. Each relationship was unique and special, illustrating the diverse

ways Megan expressed her affection and support.

An artist at heart, Megan found

solace and joy in the intricate art of crafting dream catchers. Her hands wove not

just threads and beads, but also dreams and memories, creating tangible symbols of
