Martin Flack, 67 of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully on June 1 ,2025 at home. The youngest of three children, he grew up on a farm in Iowa. He graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College and attended Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary. He is survived by his wife Christine Flack; his children Cammy (Dave) Thornton, Dominick Flack, Rachael Flack and his grand children Addison and Landon Thornton. Along with siblings Michael Flack, Mary Lynn (Rod) Lee. He is preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Shirley Flack and sister-in law Linda Flack.
Martin was a dedicated father who worked hard to provide for his family. Throughout his life, Martin was a security guard, which is why he decided to join the church’s security team. He had his own carpet cleaning business, Perfect Solutions. He had an online joke page where he was known as the “Postman”. He also used his speaking talents in the telemarketing business for many companies.
Martin loved the Lord Jesus Christ and treasured the word of God. He was very knowledgeable in the Word and confident in his faith. He was known for his humor and his jokes. His family was his priority and they often went camping and hiking together. He loved riding his motorcycle and playing board games, mainly chess and cribbage. He enjoyed going on picnics and Sunday drives.
A celebration of life service will take place at Calvary Church on East Beltline in Grand Rapids, Michigan on June 9, 2025, with visitation at 1:00pm, service at 2:00pm and a time of refreshments at 3:00pm.
