Marlene Kae Holsclaw, born August 27, 1945, passed into the arms of her loving Papa God on January 22, 2022. She lived her life with “love and passion for helping others.”
Marlene was loved by many and known as sister, mother, friend, life coach, school teacher, management consultant, women’s ministry leader, Friends of Farm Drive director, school board member, musician, vocalist, and author. One of her favorite things to share with people was: “Omni God, everywhere present, all-knowing, all-powerful, was delighting in the thought of you!”
Her legacy includes the many lives she touched through her teaching, connecting, leadership and coaching. She wanted everyone around her to know they were unique in God’s sight. She desired to champion each person and especially loved teaching and mentoring with acrostic tools.
She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her four children and their spouses Sebastian, Maria and Charles, Geoffrey and Cynthia, and Gregory and Tracy; her four grandchildren Sloane, Blair, Soren, and Tennyson; her siblings Warren and Jan; friends Cynthia, Wendy, Cathy; a special group of people she met at UC Davis, and many other beloved friends and cherished relatives.
