Mark Ronald Dadles, known fondly as Mark to his friends and family, was a beacon of joy and kindness in the lives of all who knew him. Born on November 2, 1963, in Reed City, Michigan, Mark cultivated a life filled with laughter, unconditional love, and the simple pleasure of life's outdoor offerings. His journey came to a peaceful end on August 28, 2024, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
A devoted husband to Vicki Dadles and cherished father to daughters, Rebecca (Mason) Templeton and Hannah (Daniel) Collins, Mark's love for his family was boundless. Born to Garlien Dadles and the late Gene Dadles, Mark grew up with his two sisters, Roxann (Rich) Freye and Linda (Jay) Miller. He was also very close with his brother in law Darwin (Ruth) Heme who loved him very much. His close-knit family was the cornerstone of his world, where every moment shared was infused with his radiant humor and tender care.
Mark's educational journey led him to a Bachelor's Degree in TV Production from Ferris State University, where he not only gained knowledge but also lifelong friendships. His professional life was as multi-faceted as his interests—serving as a financial planner at Lutheran Brotherhood and as the enterprising owner of Reed City Quick Lube. Mark's dedication to his work was paralleled only by the deep connections he formed with his colleagues and clients.
Those who knew Mark will attest that he was a man of many passions. His love for the outdoors was not just a pastime but a profound reflection of his appreciation for nature's beauty. Hunting and fishing were sources of serenity and excitement, while riding his dirt bike and farming connected him to the earth and its untamed spirit. Mark's skillful hands also found joy in flying remote control airplanes, a hobby that reflected his precise nature and childlike wonder. Above all, he took immense pride in his two daughters' accomplishments, embodying the virtues of a truly proud father.
Mark's departure has left a void that can only be filled by the cherished memories he created with his family and friends. As a vessel of laughter, his humor will resonate through the stories retold and the moments remembered. Kindness was not just an adjective that described Mark, it was a guiding principle by which he lived his life, touching the hearts of those he met. His loving nature was his signature, leaving an indelible mark on this world and in the hearts of those who adored him.
Mark Ronald Dadles lived fully, loved generously, and brought light and warmth to every space he occupied. As we celebrate a life so beautifully lived, we carry forward his legacy of laughter, love, and kindness – values that will continue to illuminate our lives forevermore. Mark's spirit will be deeply missed yet eternally cherished.
As the sunsets on Mark's earthly journey, we look to the horizon with gratitude for the time we had with a man who was so much to so many. With every buck hunted, and every trail ridden, we will remember and honor the man who taught us the true essence of joy and the strength of familial bonds. Mark Ronald Dadles, a true gentleman, has left us richer in heart and spirit.
Rest in peace, dear Mark, knowing that your legacy is one of unwavering love and laughter, and that it will continue to guide us through our own journeys. Your memory is now our treasure, and your story will be recounted with smiles and affection, as we hold you forever in our thoughts.
"Remember the smiles and not the tears
For all the hunts throughout the years
Don't dwell on things left unsaid
Cherish the memories we had instead
Like the crisp morning and dusky nights
A trophy buck within our sights
Deer camp with friends and family
These moments meant so much to me
When peace from nature all around
Was shattered by a sudden sound
I always hoped your aim was true
And smiled with pride for all of you
So don't cry for me because life is done
Stalking the fields has just begun
Come fall may smiles adorn your face
Knowing I've gone hunting.....
In a better place"
