December 1, 1935 — August 15, 2021

Marcia Mae (Dykema) Munsey, age 85, of Wyoming, MI died on August 15, 2021, at her residence surrounded by family after illness from cancer. Marcia was born December 1, 1935, in Grand Rapids, MI to the parents of Robert Boshoven and Marguerite Hoard (Grammatico), who preceded her in death. Also preceded her in death were her husbands, Donald Thomas Dykema and Robert Jack Munsey, her sister Bonnie Johnson, and her son Bruce Dykema. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Scott (and Emily) Dykema and Brian (and Kim) Dykema, along with one daughter-in-law, Becky Dykema. She has four grandchildren: Ashley (and husband Maurice) Brown, Jordan Dykema, Kenzie Dykema and Olivia Dykema. She also has three great-grandchildren: Joslyn Brown, Simone Brown and Maxwell Brown. Marcia’s surviving siblings are John (and wife Carol) Grammatico, Chris Brewer, Pat Parkinson, Jim (and wife Tammy) Grammatico and Kathy Grammatico. Marcia has numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will he held virtually by Zoom on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at 2:00 pm. You are welcome to join her family and friends to celebrate her life. Please contact a surviving family member for details. Marcia was beloved by many for her enthusiasm for life and interest in people. She was an avid student of the Bible and dedicated her life to helping others develop a personal relationship with Jehovah God and his son Christ Jesus. Her many years of association with Jehovah’s Witnesses along with her natural interest in others, helped her to have an unusually large circle of close friends. Marcia’s other favorites were traveling (especially to Walt Disney World), spending long days on any beach, gatherings of family and friends, and … shopping. Marcia was generous and enjoyed the challenge of finding treasures for herself and others. At gatherings, she would often be the center of attention and fill the room with laughter. Marcia will be missed by many, and we all look forward to her resurrection.
