Luke Stephen Dopson, 31, passed away at home, suddenly and unexpectedly, with his fiancé and two future step children.

Luke was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He graduated high school from Portage Central and completed a few years of college at Lake Superior State University. He spent most of his young adult life in the greater Grand Rapids area, ultimately residing in Zeeland, Michigan. Luke had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, generally being outdoors and was an avid dart player. He was extremely involved in the dart community and was a member of the West Walker Sportsman's Club along with the American Legion. Luke enjoyed some of the finer things in life, especially a good bottle of bourbon and a cigar. Luke had many great plans for his future. He was loved beyond words and will be sorely missed.

Luke is survived by Stephany (fiancé), Ramiro & Ezekiel (future stepchildren), Peter & Lori (father & step mother), Nicole (mother), his siblings Ryan (Jaci), Emily, Ricky (Angel), Kolby & Elaina, his grandparents Renee (Finn), Ken (Sandy). He also left behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Barbara & Reg Dopson and Aunt Lesley Fitzgerald.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Luke's name to the DNR Nongame Fish and Wildlife fund
