Lorraine Janis Jones

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Lorraine Jones, who passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 86.

Lorraine was born on March 13, 1940, in Bellevue, Michigan. She spent most of her life in Charlotte and Battle Creek, Michigan.

She was one of eight children and was the mother of five children—three daughters and two sons.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy; her brothers, Gary and Ed; and her sisters, Betty and Delores Schyler.

She is survived by her siblings, Beverly, Rod, Marion, Carol, and Judy; her four surviving children; extended family; and others whose lives she touched throughout the years.

May her memory bring peace and comfort to those who mourn her passing.
