Lisa Mcclure

Lisa Marie McClure, age 61, of Newaygo passed peacefully on December 5, 2021 with her family by her side. Lisa was born in Grand Rapids to her parents, Folgert (Frank) and Esther Dykstra. She graduated high school in 1978 and married Patrick McClure in October of 1985. Lisa was a Certified Nursing Assistant and devoted her life to caring for people. She deeply loved her family, friends and spending time with them. Lisa’s passion was spending time with her children, grandchildren and husband. Who are we kidding, grandchildren were first on that list! Of course, we cannot forget her love of a good garage sale. Lisa is survived by her husband, Patrick McClure; her children, Nicholas (Devon) McClure; Joseph (Denae) McClure; daughter, Stacee (Robert) Mercer; mother, Esther Dykstra-Gilman; sisters, Sue Watrous, Lynda Fenske; her grandchildren, Elise McClure; Blakelee, Bailee and Brantlee Mercer; Liberty McClure as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Folgert Dykstra and sister, Lorie Phelps. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm on Friday, December 10, 2021 at New Life Assembly of God, 1229 E. 40th St, White Cloud, MI. A luncheon will take place between the service times. Arrangements have been entrusted to Grand Rapids Cremation Services.
