Linda Hodges

Linda Sue (Louck) Hodges, age 64, of White Cloud, Michigan, passed away Tuesday September 14, 2021 in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her loving family at her side after a brief but hard-fought battle against cancer. Linda is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard “Bear” Hodges, children Dawn (Scott) Copenhaver, David (Amber) Hodges, Danny (Krystal) Hodges, bonus daughter Eugenia (Steve) Holmes, 9 grandchildren, sister Shirley (Tom) Gustin, sister-in-law’s Barbara (Howard) Shafer and Tammy Louck, brother-in-law Frederick Hodges and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Glen and Ruth (Bowers) Louck and brother Glen Louck. Linda was devoted to her family and loved her farm animals, the color blue, and especially her chihuahua Sassy. Linda was active on the board of review for Goodwell Township at the time of her death and had recently retired from Dura Automotive in Fremont, Michigan after 30 years of perfect-attendance service, which she took huge pride in. Linda’s hobbies included reading, playing scratch-off tickets, trips to the casino, watching football, spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoying the peace and quiet of her farm. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Saturday September 25th from 2pm -5pm at the Goodwell Township Hall, 2465 N Cypress Avenue, White Cloud, MI. Light refreshments will be served.
