Linda L (Amelotte) Coleman, formerly Lariviere
Linda passed away Monday, February 9, 2026 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Bremerton, WA on January 12, 1954, a daughter of Rodrique “Rod” Amelotte and Esther (McAlpine) Cavalieri.
Linda was educated in the Biddeford School systems. She worked several years in manufacturing as a shoemaker, seamstress, and her proudest position as a Pipefitter at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Some of her passions were quilting, cooking, entertaining family/friends, and playing bingo.
Thomas and Linda were married on July 31, 1999. They enjoyed gardening, home improvement projects, attending concerts, and creating music together.
Her former marriage to Urbain “Ben” Lariviere was August 11, 1972. Together, they raised their daughters while making memories of camping, days at the lake/beaches, and playing cards with close friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Esther (McAlpine) Cavalieri, Rodrique “Rod” and Patricia Amelotte, her oldest brother David Amelotte, his son Jeffrey and his youngest daughter April, her former spouse Urbain “Ben” Lariviere.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Coleman, her daughters, Michelle “Lariviere” and Chris Steeves, Kimberly “Lariviere” and Brian Weatherly, stepsons, Eric and Trish Coleman, Brian and Missy Coleman, Jeremy and Aimee Coleman.
Grandchildren, Crawford and Aidan Steeves, Gabriel, Daniel, Madison and Abigail Weatherly, Benjamin, Brendan, Bailey, Riley, and Kylie Coleman, Great grandson Charlie Coleman.
Siblings, Frank “Pinchy” and Lynn Cavalieri, Patricia “Amelotte” Escudero, and Suzette Amelotte. Nieces and nephew, Heather, Addison, Melissa, Brenda, Valerie, and Patrick. Life-long friend Janice DeRoche, special friend and caregiver Jessie Collett, beloved pets Chance and Kiki.
She will be laid to rest in her hometown of Biddeford, Maine. Celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
