Leslie Wayne Meadows

Leslie “Les” Wayne Meadows, age 73 is now absent from the body and present with the Lord. He passed away peacefully in the care of his family on April 22, 2020. Les was born in Beckley, West Virginia to his father, Basil Cauddle Meadows and mother, Pauline Ruth (Burgess) Meadows. Les graduated from Creston High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After High School he eagerly and proudly joined and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Les enjoyed hunting, fishing and nature. His favorite time of year was Spring and he reveled in God’s Creations, especially flowers. Les had a passion for food, as well as cooking for his family and friends. His love for the Lord was well known by everyone, as he was passionate about spreading the Word of God and the salvation message of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with everyone he met along his path in life. Les was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John Meadows. He is survived by his children: son, Thaddeus (Trista) Meadows; daughter, Genevieve Meadows; son, Preston Meadows and daughter, Rachel Conaway; sisters, Suzanne (Allen) Wingard and Gay Butler. As well as his grandchildren; Thaddeus Meadows Jr., Keane Meadows and Konrad Conaway, and his many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date
