Lesle Jill Cleveland

Lesle Jill Cleveland 09/10/1954 to 04/04/2020 Lesle passed away, peacefully, on 04/04/2020 after a long battle with cancer and heart disease. She fought hard, and decided when her fight was done making sure to meet with her children and speak with her sister before she began the final chapter of her story. She was born 09/10/1954 to Geneva and Donald Voland in Oakland, California. Go Raiders! She loved children and family. Many people called her "Ma" or "Mom" and were thenceforth, Family. Her grandchildren, affectionately, called her Granny as her mother before her was called. She selflessly cared for anyone who was a friend of her birth children, providing those who needed it, a safe place to shelter or call home, even if temporarily. She helped guide those she came in contact with towards a path that was less bumpy. She loved all her "children." You know who you are. Her life was spent in service or others. She worked most of her life in the restaurant business serving others. It was her life to give, to which she gave to the very end, always putting the feelings of others before herself. Before she passed she made sure that her children knew she accepted her fate and that they also accepted it so that she could pass on peacefully. Lesle is survived by her sister Lisa, four son's; Aaron, Robert, Eric, and Ryan, grandchildren; (one on the way), Raelynn, Lindsey, Adriana, Kobe, Devin, Eric Jr., Alexis, and great-grandchild, Paisley. Mom's, Granny's, survived don't end there. She had many who she regarded as children and grandchildren, too numerous to name. Unfortunately, a celebration of life cannot take place at this time, due to the coronavirus. We will reach out when we are able to celebrate beyond the social distancing the family will reach out.
